I lived in Seal Rock, high up on the hill with the forest behind me. My soul is still there along with my heart...

Hello Seal Rock! Nice to find this site. I moved away from SR in about 1978 after beingthere for 15+ years. SR was just begging to loose it's innocents about then. Hippies dissappearing. Chainsaws making a comeback...as art! Japanese cuisine replaced Charlie an Inga's German food. Now our once impressive late 60's cedar home is gone, replaced by an architectual concrete turd, the chard garden paved over for another home. Gone also the Ultman's fantasitcal fairytale home I heard. I should go back for visit. But I fear Huckleberry Hill is now more like Hollywood Hill. But perhaps it's time to visit family members up in Fern Ridge and buy a Big Hunnk at the old Kawalski store. Go see if Gary is still carving....his little quails...forever turning their heads back and forth, back and forth...And there were trout in the little hidden pond just north of town by the beach.

We bought a piece a property just north of here and are building a house. Not only is the wonderful beach and exploring, but visit "Fudge". She has the BIGGEST scoops of ice cream on the coast (or any other place). She has awesome fudge and other treats. This is a must for us every time we are in town.
